Purpose and Background
The purpose of this webinar is to equip participants with the practical skills to create a comprehensive warehouse model using Autodesk Revit software. The session will guide attendees through the step-by-step process of modeling various warehouse components, from structural elements to MEP systems, utilizing Revit's built-in tools and features. By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to create basic warehouse models and understand the foundational principles of Revit for larger-scale projects.
Benefits and Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Create a basic warehouse structure using Revit's building components tools
- Incorporate site topography into the warehouse model
- Establish project base points and coordinate systems
- Model basic mechanical and plumbing systems within the warehouse environment
- Generate simple schedules for quantity takeoffs and material lists
- Create a basic drawing sheet with essential annotations and views
These learning outcomes focus on practical skills development and provide a solid foundation for using Revit to create warehouse models.
Assessment of Learning Outcomes
Achievement of the learning outcomes by attendees will be assessed through short quizzes and a final exam.
