INSTRUCTOR: S. David Ellison, P.E., M.ASCE, ENV-PV
Course Length: 8 Hours
This course is part of ASCE's NEW Sustainable Infrastructure Certificate.
Purpose and Background
There is an urgent need to provide more sustainable infrastructure projects since we are building 2050 now — project by project. A new project management system must be practiced recognizing both the tenants of sustainability and the application of sustainable measures based on the Envision™ Sustainability Rating System sponsored by the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure. Project Managers in this modern, sustainable age must lead the efforts to form the right projects (fulfilling the perceived need in a sustainable way) and then accomplish the defined projects right the first time. This on-demand seminar will help you meet the objectives outlined above.
Assessment of Learning Outcomes
Students' achievement of the learning outcomes will be assessed via a short post-assessment (true-false, multiple choice and fill in the blank questions).
