Topics include case studies addressing the design, construction, and challenges encountered with underpinning a structure within a highly sensitive category II nuclear environment, the use of CMGC project delivery in constructing stormwater storage facilities, and testing methods for geotechnical structural evaluations of auger-cast piles and drilled shafts deep foundations.
Benefits and Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of these sessions, you will be able to:
- Identify challenges underpinning highly sensitive environments.
- Explain the use of CMGC project delivery.
- Discuss the various methods for testing geotechnical structural evaluations.
Assessment of Learning Outcomes
Achievement of the learning objectives will be assessed through a short post-test.
