INSTRUCTOR: Alfredo Cely, P.E., PMP, M.ASCE
This course is part of ASCE's Geographic Information Systems for Asset Management Certificate Program.
The main intent of this course is to assist practitioners in their use of geospatial analysis to improve the processes within the infrastructure asset management applications. There are three consecutive building blocks that are required to carry out geospatial analysis operations within asset management settings. First, we have the development of spatial analysis frameworks. Based on these frameworks, practitioners can then build specific geospatial analysis for their respective asset management industry or application. And once the framework and methods are prepared, then professionals execute different spatial analysis operations within asset management.
This course is one of ASCE's new Guided Online Courses that are highly interactive, instructor-led programs in which learners move through a 12-week learning experience with their peers. The content includes video lectures, interactive exercises, case studies, and weekly discussion topics to help master the course material. Unlimited 24/7 accessibility to weekly modules.
