Description
View Important System Requirements for running this course.
Almost all soils in practice have water in their voids. However, the form and the amount of water in soils may differ significantly at different locations. Water in soils can influence the physical properties of soils and their behavior under various loading conditions. In addition, almost all laboratory tests on soils require determination of water content. Therefore, it is essential to understand how this test is performed. This video presents three different methods to determine water content of soils.
