Purpose and Background
Grouting is a means of injecting cementitious materials into rock formations for a number of purposes. There are a variety of techniques and materials that can be used to grout in rock for structural and hydraulic purposes.
This webinar includes an introduction to grouting methods and the critical factors associated with use and application. It includes an overview of materials and equipment for grout injections and considerations for applying each method. It discusses behavior of the grout in the subsurface, and it provides an understanding of the various factors affecting the control, verification, and effectiveness of grouting in rock. It presents examples of some of the key applications.
